Roles & Responsibilities:
- Testing the Consolidated Ticker Plant (CTP) - system is responsible for disseminating market data information from all venues to downstream systems at the NYSE;
- Generating and maintaining the Volatility Trading Pause (VTP) system - functionality related to the events based off the flash crash for NASDAQ and NMS securities;
- Developing and maintaining test cases for the alternative price tick rule related to a new SEC regulation affecting sell short orders;
- Develop test plans, maintain test suites and automate test cases for the CTP system.
- Tools used: Linux, SQL, FIX protocol.
Education & Qualification:
Minimum Education: Master of Business Administration.
Minimum Experience: None.
Other Special Requirements: Must be proficient in: Linux, SQL, FIX protocol.
