For large engagements, AppLabs favors a flex team approach where 60% of the testing team is dedicated to the client and the remaining 40% moving from client to client. AppLabs argues that according to the flex team model, the core team receives key training on the applications of the client and tools used by the client. The core team is involved into document creation, scripting in tools, and overall anything but the execution itself. Execution is done by the flex team so that the core team does not need to have a deep understanding of the client’s applications.

During this phase:

• Collate and centralize knowledge management
• Resource allocation is done based on priority and criticality
