The IT and BPO sector is likely to post a growth of over 30 per cent on a year-on-year basis at least for the next four years, riding on the offshoring wave, says industry body Assocham.
Assocham President V N Dhoot said besides investing in main stream companies, investors are increasingly looking to invest in companies with a niche focus such as Flextronics Software System which offers IT services in the telecom domain, Geometric software providing engineering services, AppLabs in software testing and Quattro, a BPO firm focusing on new offering such as legal outsourcing, analytics and clinical data management.
