Performance Testing for an Independent Charity Organization Application

The client is an independent charity that protects a vast range of historic buildings, representing traditional vernacular, industrial and polite forms of architecture. It purchases, renovates and maintains the properties to enable general public to view and obtain a perspective on their historical importance and use.

The client implemented a CRM solution system Oracle R11, which provided it with the necessary information to manage and control its supporter database. This system was deployed to record interactions between the charity and its supporters. However, it could not establish as being reliable and demonstrated functional errors.

The client decided to embark on a replacement system based around Oracle R12 release and the challenge was to test the system for any defects that could cause problems in the future. This is when AppLabs was called upon to perform testing of the new system in order to achieve system satisfaction, avoid delays and abate the risk of losing donors.
