Test Automation Specialists
Job Type – Permanent
Base Location – UK Wide – our Consultants work on a client’s projects throughout the UK, therefore the location of the work will vary and a willingness to travel, working away from home where necessary, is essential.
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are to analyze the systems to determine what tests are required, decide which of those tests should be automated and design, build, and document and execute the tests effectively.
At a Senior Level, responsibilities include setting the scope and objectives for the Test Stage and producing the Test Plan.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 12 months' testing experience and be able to analyse test requirements, and design and execute tests
- Must be able to develop automated tests using one or more of the various automated testing tools currently available
For more Senior positions:
- Must have several years test automation experience and be able to devise strategies for test automation
- Must have a thorough knowledge of how and when to use test automation and be able provide creative solutions for building effective and maintainable automated test suites
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience of working in within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance industry sectors is desirable.
Education & Qualification
Candidates will ideally:
- Have recognised certifications in at least one automated test tool
- Be educated to degree level
- Be certified in ISEB Software Testing at Foundation level or above
