Test Architects

Job Type – Permanent

Base Location – UK Wide – our Consultants work on a client’s projects at different locations throughout the UK, therefore the location of the work will vary and a willingness to travel, working away from home where necessary, is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities involve:

  • Reviewing how Client organisations conduct testing across multiple projects or programmes, and recommending and gaining senior management commitment to changes that both improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Advising on and managing Test Process Improvement programmes
  • Devising, gaining senior management commitment to, and implementing effective and efficient Test Strategies for major IT projects
  • Conducting ‘Health Checks’ and audits of testing projects of all sizes
  • Preparing the technical content for and presenting successful sales proposals
  • Preparing and delivering papers and presentations on current testing issues

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience (10+ years ideally) of testing or management roles on IT projects
  • Experience of developing, implementing and maintaining Test Strategies and Test Process Improvement programmes
  • Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience of working in within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance industry sectors is desirable.

Education & Qualification

Candidates will ideally be:

  • ISEB/ISTQB certified in Software Testing at Foundation & Practitioner level
  • Prince2 Practitioner Certified
  • Educated to degree level
