Performance Engineering for Siebel Stars
The client is one of the largest financial institutions in Saudi Arabia, with a valued presence in and around the Middle-East. The bank wanted to ensure that the performance of the newly-implemented Siebel CRM implementation provided its customers with a slick online banking solution. However, this was not achieved owing to problems due to slowness of the site, login issues and inconsistencies in the business process responses.
AppLabs’ performance engineers worked closely with the client’s technical teams in Saudi Arabia to identify the critical business processes that were creating the issues. In total, 40 business transactions were selected for performance analysis and as a result all of these required performance test scripts to be developed along with realistic test scenarios in order to obtain data to stress the system.
