Outside Sales Executives

Job Type – Permanent

Base Location – The candidate will train in the Philadelphia office for the first 2-3 months. After that time, the candidate can work out of home office a couple days a week or continue working out of the Philadelphia Office full time.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Generating new accounts and revenue streams for AppLabs while achieving annual sales quota. This includes identifying and securing new business with large, enterprise organizations not currently working with AppLabs.
  • Strategic, executive-level selling of Global Quality Assurance testing, Development, and Consulting services.
  • Some territory management activities including forecasting, account planning and strategy.
  • Providing appropriate documentation of client communications and interactions to AppLabs management.
  • Transitioning your accounts over to the Strategic Account Managers so you can focus on closing more business.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Five years minimum experience in field sales providing software or IT services to BFSI or ISV Industries.
  • Extensive track record of sales i.e. a “rolodex” within the sales territory is expected.
  • Must be able to demonstrate large account sales success; including executive-level relationships, account penetration, solution selling, and coordination of multi-site account management.
  • Must have excellent communications skills – both written and verbal.
  • Must be capable and comfortable presenting to senior executives and/or large audiences.
  • Familiarity with contact management tools including Salesforce.com.
  • Must have the ability to travel within the region – between 20% to 40% travel is required.
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment with a positive disposition.
  • Consultative selling experience is also required, preferably in a team-based customer engagement process.
  • Experience working independently from a home office may be required.
