Welcome
The outsourced QA and Testing market continues to grow at a rapid rate. Research by leading analyst firms estimate this to be at $69.5 billion by 2011 and offshore testing will increase from around $3 billion in 2007 to $16 billion by 2011. This edition of Perspective aims to provide insight for organizations who are considering outsourcing their QA and Testing or who are looking to change service providers. AppLabs' experience reveals that there are two main areas that organizations need help on when planning to outsource - Measuring Financial Return and Mobilization. Vikash Sureka, VP and Financial Controller of AppLabs, gives great advice in Business Insight about how to ensure you achieve cost savings when offshoring QA and Testing, and Technical Viewpoint provides 10 Key Considerations when choosing an outsource or offshore service provider, covering topics such as Engagement Models, IP & Security and Communication. This edition also provides a great opportunity to register for a series of WebExs on key topic areas; 'Addressing the challenges of testing SOA based applications' (register) and 'Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt - How to overcome these in choosing an offshore QA and testing provider' (register). We hope you enjoy this edition of Perspective. Sashi Reddi Founder & CEO
