Leveraging Independent Testing Services for Higher Quality and Efficiency

Downward price pressure is predicted to dominate most of the negotiations during the year and for some time into the future by nearly all analysts. What the expert analysts are in agreement is also that in the 'new normal' it will become important if not urgent for testing service providers to help customers accelerate short-term Quality Assurance (QA) ROI and increase QA process efficiencies with supportive risk mitigation strategies. In short, economic uncertainty will continue to drive focus on rationalizing cost with higher quality.

In this context it is important for enterprises to understand the top drivers for using testing services. These drivers include high interest in infrastructure testing, and standardization and automation of test processes. The interest in specialized testing is on the boom and many preferred testing models are evolving.

The choice of testing vendors are also in abundance for enterprises considering outsourcing of testing. Pure play testing service providers with their global/regional/country focus, dedicated business to testing services - from test strategy, to test planning and full spectrum of test delivery models (e.g. dedicated to shared TCoEs) are high on the choice list of these enterprises.
