The client is India’s leading retail chain with a strong presence across fast moving consumer goods, apparel, music and education. The client’s online shopping portal offers a vast array of merchandise ranging from Apparels and Books to Laptops, Mobiles and Kitchenware. To ascertain the impact of a security breach on their application, the client engaged AppLabs to carry out Web Application Penetration Testing (WAPT) on their servers exposed to the Internet.
The intense level of security testing performed aided the client in maintaining information integrity and confidentiality of such sensitive information. The test results helped the client in understanding business and technical risks to help fortify the security policy.
