AppLabs continues its European expansion with the opening of a Dublin office

August 8, 2007

AppLabs, the world’s largest independent quality management and testing company, today unveiled the opening of its new operation in Dublin, Ireland.

The opening of the Irish office is part of AppLabs’ strategy to expand its presence in Europe. The announcement follows hot on the heels of the recent news of AppLabs’ four-pronged expansion plan – a new testing facility and training center in India, a new testing facility in the UK and a global increase in manpower.

AppLabs is already working with two large organizations in Ireland and will continue to focus on the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industries, where AppLabs has strong domain knowledge and a reputation for delivering successful projects.

It is expected that AppLabs will follow the opening of the new offices with a Dublin based testing facility in the next 12 months as the demand for local offsite facilities increases. AppLabs already offers a comprehensive “sourcing” proposition to its clients – through a combination of onsite, offsite and offshore solutions – and organizations based in Ireland are increasingly asking for more local testing facilities.

Mr. Sashi Reddi, Founder, Chairman and CEO, AppLabs, commenting on the Irish office opening said: “Ireland is a significant market in European terms and the opening of our office there is a natural progression of our business plan and reinforces our commitment to the European marketplace. It is an obvious step forward for us after listening to our customers’ demands.

“From a global perspective, AppLabs has shown strong growth consistently over the years. The last two quarters have seen an increase in our business and customers, both in the USA and European markets. In keeping with the strong demand for our services in these markets, we are investing in further expanding our operations in India and throughout Europe,” concluded Sashi.

What our clients say

“We’ve looked at the alternatives and found AppLabs to be a solid partner with the competencies and the ability to complete this kind of a test with this level of volume. It is critical for us to test our network and application’s ability to withstand real world loads, where users are employing many different kinds of machines. And it was critical that we test our ability to handle the maximum level of web traffic we might unexpectedly have to sustain. These were the reasons we were pleased to work with AppLabs.”
