Full Lifecycle Performance Testing

A project can descend into chaos if the process is not properly defined. This white paper demonstrates that the only way to prevent anarchy is to have a process which is fully understood by all stakeholders with defined roles and responsibilities. The paper will then look at three common lifecycles, the V-Model, Agile/RAD and Package Deployment and demonstrate how a single test process can be utilized to great effect in all three.

Despite increased maturity of test processes, the discipline of testing still suffers from traditional “project squeeze” in many engagements. Additionally, as new project development methodologies are created and speed to market increases, testing needs to react accordingly. Test statements are a technique pioneered by AppLabs, in order to help balance the need for thoroughness and “best practice” with the need for speed and pragmatism.
